I obviously don't want to inconvenience anyone - but are there really still no scans of any of these new FLs? Digital includes no booklet whatsoever.
Will I always need you?
Would you want me to?

Hi
I believe somebody made artwork for the previous re-issues, cd rips for iTunes, is there any chance of making ones for Yes & Elysium please
I've edited some covers for my iTunes, they should be in the folder in the link along with some others, feel free to use.

Just listened to the new material from the remasters today. A few thoughts:
1 The Dumpling song could have been on the Beatles Magical Mystery Tour album.
2. The Vocal demo shows the different direction this track could have gone in. The finished Price version is epic in my opinion, but this song could have also been epic in a PSB imperial phase way with a different producer. It’s a shame they didn’t also put the Dawson version on so we could have heard the evolution of this track beginning, middle, and end.
3. In slow motion is a great, great reflective track and could have replaced any number of weak tracks on Elysium such as Ego music, Hold on, Give it a go, or Everything means something.
4. She pops would have been one of their better post-Alternative b-sides.
5. Giving the Loving kind to Girls Aloud was the correct decision as it doesn’t suit them at all. Glad it was saved for archival release.

Here's my album made from my favourites of all the exclusive Further Listening songs old and new:

1. Falling
2. Motoring
3. Ring road
4. One-way street
5. Call me old-fashioned
6. The loving kind
7. Run, girl, run

1. Kazak
2. The dumpling song
3. Tall thin men
4. So sorry I said
5. In slow motion
6. The night is a time to explore who you are
7. Night song

If you omit the two songs from the earlier releases (Falling and So sorry I said) you have the 12 song limit suggested by Zog. In that case, I would move The loving kind to track one. I included those two because I just bought them for the first time too, as single track downloads, like the rest of these tracks. I never thought of doing so before. (There was a bit of a slump in my interest in PSB from around 2000-2012, and Bilingual is the only Further Listening I own in physical format).

I put all the car songs together as a trilogy.

I don't like Dancing in the dusk, She pops or Playing in the street.

I think I theoretically like For all of us, but I find myself skipping it every time at the moment. (Maybe over-familiarity from having played the Salford show so much). The performance of my life I think I like too, but it just feels too much for this tracklist which already has lots of world weariness and balladry on it.

Reunion, Wings and faith and No excuse (and probably others I'm forgetting) are all right and I'd add them to a longer playlist, but with a "normal album length" limit I have to say I prefer all of the songs here.

Anyone else noticed the distortion on the track Listening? :wall: :wall: :wall:

You can notice it from 1:40 on the drums.

The bass in general is quite weird, I noticed on Listening and In Slow Motion, it's a bit off-putting.
Have a look at my taste in music:

That’s the thing about negative energy, about hatred. It can be positive. It throws into relief all the things you know you like. It tells you, by elimination, what you’re about. Sometimes you can only define yourself by what you hate. Hatred becomes an inspiration; it makes you think, “What I’m doing now I totally believe in, and I don’t care what other people say.” Guided by hatred, you don’t have to follow the herd. - Neil Tennant

The Vocal demo is like a 80s remix version, while the Price one is the 90s mix.

Wondering when they will release the filmed interview with our fan questions. It wouldn‘t have any promotional effect, if they wait another few weeks.

It's not going to have any promotional impact whatsoever. It's fan pleasing. No more, no less.

I also came here looking for the Further Listening booklet covers for Yes and Elysium. Doesn't look anyone has done those specific ones yet?

Anyway I had previously photographed the Nightlife, Release and Fundamental ones and I have added them to the thread started by negative 1. I had really trouble with the light as I used a camera, so the whites are not as good as I would like. But still you can view and use them if you wish.

If I get a chance I'll do the Yes and Elysium ones too....unless people think they're no good! I'm not satisfied with them but it is the best I have.

Look at thread:

Why not just download the cover images in hi-rez digitally from online stores such as these at Amazon - particularly if you want to add as covers to your CD grabs in your digital movie library:

So when do we think the 'new old reissues' are due? I'd love to get my hands on a Bilingual LP.

Thanks, but I mean the cover picture on the booklets with all the Neil & Chris Further Listening discussions in, not the album cover.

In my iTunes I use the album cover for the main album, but all the tracks from the Further Listening discs I use the cover of the internal booklet which has a different picture.
