The only reason for buying these (again) is for the HMV prints. Personally, i'd rather just go into HMV and give them a tenner for the prints
...if they do them at all.
Just for the sake of it, make sure you're always frowning. :|

I disagree and I’m looking forward to the new remastering of both disks. There could be considerable improvement in the sound quality over the original 2001 remasters. So far the quality of this new batch of remasters has been very good. I hope the older albums will benefit from that same improvement. Also, my original set of the 2001 remasters are showing a great deal of wear and tear so it won’t hurt to have a nice new Mint Condition set

I've essentially destroyed many of the discs of the years. Some are just uber scratched up from heavy use. That's my main reason for wanting the re-re-masters.
And tryin' to figure out what happened to 'Germaine Propaine'

I’ll be picking up Please - Bilingual as they come out because my 2001 copies are very bashed-up. I’m also excited about the vinyl editions.

My ridiculously obsessive mind wonders if Farrow will tidy up the tracklistings to match the other 2017 releases (where * is previously unreleased and ** is previously unreleased on CD) and whether they’ll address the issue in the 2001 booklets where some photos were back to front...

Technically, none of them are "previously unreleased" now though, are they? :)

I've pre-ordered all three albums in CD format. I've only got the further listening as digital versions. I still like an actual CD, for the booklets & to have something tangible! :D

I never managed to get round to buying the original set so I'll be lining up for these ... in HMV.

I've got the prints for the last 5 re-releases so now I need the full set. :)
you could say conventional ... and I could claim intentional

I remember when I bought the 2001 further listenings, putting the CD on and reading the book thinking this is awesome ! I remember doing that with the 2017 further listenings and thinking this is brill waited for what seems an eternity for the nightlife reissue especially!! And they even came with some prints which was a great surprise ! I am struggling to get excited about nothing other than the prints & vinyl atm but I will be buying the CDs ( that’s the completist in me that’s making me doing that!) and I am hoping something is gonna surprise me :)

And I am still hoping for a Boxedset !

I'm not going to be pre-ordering this set of remasters, as I have all the original Further Listening albums on CD, although I do look forward to hearing about the quality of the remasters. If people seem to be blown away by the dynamics, then I may consider ordering them from the O/S. At this point though, the only parts of the remainder of the series I am certain to buy are the vinyl reissues of Very and Bilingual, since I don't have the originals of these.

Well... Neil suggested us to not buy them again. So I don't think he is begging us in any way.

The pic is cool and funny, but the idea is miserable. I'm pretty sure the albums would not be re-issued now if the 2001 reissues have not sold out. They are mainly for those people who do not have them, not to beg die-hard fans.

I think you'll find that the vinyl of all these albums has not been pressed or remastered since initial release - so plenty to be exiled about there

And Bilingual was impossible to get on vinyl without paying huge prices .
