The Super reaction thread!

#1 Post by Pod » Thu 21 Jan 2016, 1:57 pm

As Remark suggested, a thread on thoughts and feelings on the reveal is a good idea. 3 mins and counting...
Just for the sake of it, make sure you're always frowning. :|
It shows the world that you've got substance and depth.

Great reveal and Inner Sanctum is a great introduction. However, I feel announcing it now for an April 1st release is too far away.

Inner Sanctum is amazing. The concept for the four-night residency revolving around the theme sounds very promising.

I think the wait is great. Give time for hype to build up. This is a special album. 30 YEARS of PSB! We'll be getting a single (with, assumably, at least one b-side and a video?) in between and that will help drum up more interest, either from casual fans or people who previously weren't even fans at all, but soon will be.

Here's what I love:

- the fact they kept it all so quiet so well
- the title
- the teaser video
- the "released everywhere" statement
- the Royal Opera House
- the new publicity shots, especially the last one
- the escalator shot
- the track titles
- the fact that there is 12 tracks

Here's what I'm not sure about:

- Inner Sanctum is a bit 1999 sound-wise
- why do we have to wait until April 1st?!?!?
