Yep, the whole thing has dragged on far to long and has become a bit of a joke. :wall:

I have little to no hope these remasters will be announced in April, I'm thinking May.
BTW, wouldn't it make more sense to release the complete box first, then the individual albums later, unless the plan is to release the individual albums first, then add exclusive content in the box forcing us all to double-dip. Cynical I know...

I really think that a great opportunity (no pun intended) to release some kind of limited edition numbered, maybe colored vinyl, editions of the reissues this past Record Store Day, in advance of the forthcoming reissues has been lost. It would have given them some needed publicity and created some interest in the media.

Oh well at this rate there is always Record Store Day 2018 :wall:

Well, there may be another possibility: something new in "the works" from the PSB. Wishful thinking, yes. But ...

Why don't people chill out? They will tell us when they are able to do so.

Vinyl is highly unlikely, a remote possibility if even that.

That was my impression from talking about it at a meet and greet, due in part to the number of discs that would be required. However, I did speak in favor of vinyl as I certainly want it.

The trouble is (certainly in my eyes) is that

A)Neil said a few years back possibly 2010-2012 that Parlophone had the tracklistings and plans for Nightlife and Release Further Listening and had been sitting on them for a few years.

B) Nightlife Further Listening was originally announced on the official website back in 2004.

C) It is clear from the Pet Text earlier this month that everything is good to go.

D) I think it was back in 2015 that Neil revealed that the 5 albums were having the further listening treatment and they were sorting details with their manager and sourcing tracks for the releases.

Agree, chances are the release dates are out of their hands. Patience people...
Just for the sake of it, make sure you're always frowning. :|

...Especially since they are no longer actively "contracted" to Parlophone...and let's face it...record companies and the music industry in-of-itself today is nothing like the 80s, 90s and possibly the 00s when PSB were with a traditional record company with dinero...such as Parlophone/Sire/Warner/Atlantic/EMI/Universal/Sanctuary/AstralWorks/WEA/BlahBlahBlah. Besides, those kinds of resources just don't exist anymore. I am sure the intern in charge of the details of the PSB reissues at Parlophone was busy at Easter helping her mum with the cakes and then she unfortunately got sick the next day because she got drunk with her friends and she decided to take a few days off to collect herself. She's now "catching up". :shhh:
