different mixes

#1 Post by speee » Sat 05 Aug 2017, 2:36 pm

I noticed some of the mixes on the reissues are not the mixes we already knew.
Can you help me compiling a list of all the different version we got with the reissues?
Someone already spotted out Sodom (demo), Paris city boy (which has now the verse in french too).
I think there's a difference in Samurai too... (instrumental part)

The full version of Paris City Boy is the Stade Français Rugby anthem version, I remember reading about this at the time and am surprised it was never fully released in France if I'm honest.
The lyrics are rugby based about passing and tackling etc, great stuff and love it!
Never realised this would be such a unique version because there is a full version of the Pop Art mix out there which is complegely different.

well I noticed in "alone again naturally" a part that originally was only sung by neil now had elton singing along with neil.

the bridge section, or what you might call a middle eight where neil is singing "seems to me that there are more hearts "

You're not wrong...
Just for the sake of it, make sure you're always frowning. :|
It shows the world that you've got substance and depth.
