PSB immortalised as a synth preset!

#1 Post by TallThinMan »

Moog Music have just released a iOS app recreation of their legendary 1970’s Minimoog Model D synthesizer. I bought it earlier and was browsing the presets (yes, it has presets). I was thrilled to find that in the bass category it includes a preset named “West End Bass”, that as the name suggests is a passable imitation of the West End Girls synth bass sound. Pretty funny, considering that according to Stephen Hague on this very forum the original was a mixture of an Oberheim OBX and a drum machine kick drum sound.

Pretty good that - gonna download it.
Just for the sake of it, make sure you're always frowning. :|
It shows the world that you've got substance and depth.

Indeed, somewhat cheaper than the 6000+ Pounds/Euros/Dollars an original second-hand Minimoog would set you back!
