After the third album of the triology, I want PSB to do an unexpected movement
After the third album of the triology, I want PSB to do an unexpected movement
It sounds strange, isn't it?. But I'd like PSB could surprise us.
I mean, what do you expect from PSB after the third album of the triology. Maybe an album with ballads, maybe a project similar to a ballet or the typical cultural PSB thing.
I don't know but I'd like te be surprised. I mean, PSB always have done some unexpected things (in a musical way), we usually appreciate from them. After the triology, don't you think is time to do something totally different they have done before.
I don't know what, but I'd like to be suprised with another unexpected musical movement, something not done before by them. Not a tiny thing with no relevance, anyway.
What would you like?.

No - stick to what they do best.
Just for the sake of it, make sure you're always frowning.

Halloween EP. Remixes of Losing My Mind, Vampires, In The Night, The Resurectionist, and the new track Don't Know how many Milky Way you think you can eat, but I can't give them out anymore.
And tryin' to figure out what happened to 'Germaine Propaine'
"He couldn't have fell off that hard" Ain't no way
"What happened to the way you was rappin' when you was scandalous
That Canibus turned into a television evangelist"
Plus he raps with his regular voice [BOOSH! BOOSH!]
[BOOSH! BOOSH!] (What was that?) Pet Shop Boys

I can imagine Neil wanting to write an opera about a celebrated homosexual like Hadrian - perhaps based on this:

As reference to the "are we contented" topic a calendar would be nice! *For next year as it is a bit late now*.

There is beauty in ugliness and ugliness in beauty.

Well, some things PSB suggested:
- A score for a Disney movie
- A duets album
- A kind of electronic Opera

Re: After the third album of the triology, I want PSB to do an unexpected movement
I think they have recently mentioned working further on their "expansion" of A Man from the Future into a more "visual" format. I'm not sure, however, what that might be -- perhaps a more theatrical, even operatic piece? Who knows? At any rate, I suspect that will be the next thing after the completion of the Price trilogy. Or perhaps it may even come beforehand.
Just my speculation….

What's unexpected is that the trilogy came to an end at album #2. I have a feeling they've moved on from it. Stuart Price has been on the downlow for some time now.

I would love it, especially since some of them could be promo edits! Also an edit of the Undertow mix. Excellent idea! Really, the only thing to do for Parlophone are small singles boxsets. No use in new Greatest Hits.
Even better, I'd love a box set of the three albums, with a bunch of bonus tracks. Sort of like FL, but also kind of different.
P.S. "Triology" is annoying. Please don't use it.

Comparing the last two albums to the first albums, I want them them involve other musicians again, I've enjoyed the pure electronic approach, but I want something richer.
