The exceptions that prove the rule. Of the 21 tracks that compose the last two albums, the vast majority were very much uptempo. If the general tempo of the new record matches that of the tracks you’ve mentioned, we’re looking at a change of pace. But who cares? It’s nothing we’re not used to in the round.

I've seen the show, dear nickname... but you've kind of missed the point of my post.
I know, I know but I approached it to say that because I'm a big fan of the show.

I hope you like it.

It's true.

The only one song from the new album you'll listen in the Dreamland Tour is Dreamland (because that's the title of the tour), the rest of it will be hits.

In fact, the new album won't have a commercial sound but they have plans for a new album next. A new electronic album with a more commercial sound (something similar they did with Elysium/Electric).

You'd better let Neil and Chris know that the tour is called Dreamland, as they and everyone else apart from you seem to think it's called Dreamworld.. :wall: :wall: :wall:
The idea of Dreamland turn into Worldland because it's a world tour. Dreamland is obviously the main idea to call the tour that way. That's why it's going to be played on tour.

We can expect big anthems for the new album. All of them go in the next album

I give up.

Be nice if we got an album title/sleeve/tracklist the day Dreamland is physically released. Wouldn’t it be nice. Yes it would be nice. Quite keen for some artwork by now really.

I expect they'll announce the album title next week - Friday being the drop date of the new Dreamland CD release

Just found a whole bunch of unknown song titles registered to Neil and Chris as writers on ASCAP and they're as following:

Back To The Grind
[s] Berlin Mitte Boy [/s]
Challenge/The Challenge
Destruction
Faster
For Every Moment
Help Me
Hold On My Heart
Holding Back
I've Got Plans Involving You
Imagine
It Might Be Obvious
It's Not A Crime
[s]Jai Pas Peur[/s]
K Hole
Love And War
Love Letter
New Love
Nine Out Of Ten
[s]Occupy My Mind[/s]
Physical Jerks
Prologue
[s]Risk[/s]
Room With A Viewer
[s]Something Special[/s]

It's not the definitive list, I only had energy to go through it once (there's 373 in total). Anyone recognize these from any side projects of theirs? Not that familiar with all of those, only the Pet Shop Boys canon.

Have a look at my taste in music:

That’s the thing about negative energy, about hatred. It can be positive. It throws into relief all the things you know you like. It tells you, by elimination, what you’re about. Sometimes you can only define yourself by what you hate. Hatred becomes an inspiration; it makes you think, “What I’m doing now I totally believe in, and I don’t care what other people say.” Guided by hatred, you don’t have to follow the herd. - Neil Tennant

Dear Nikac, some of these are known... for example, from The Most Incredible Thing etc. I'd Google each of them + geowayne to see if they're referenced on Wayne's website. Jai Pas Peur is the French version of I'm Not Scared, performed by Eighth Wonder. Something Special is from Closer to Heaven, and so on.

Berlin Mitte Boy must be a German version of New York City boy, and Occupy my mind is the final track on Dusty Springfield's "Reputation" album, the most Chris track on that album. A lot of these is old shit.

I've watched the list: many titles on the database have a weird spelling, but there are juicy bits. Could "Zazoom" (sic) be an earlier version of "In the night"?

I reckon some of these are songs featuring PSB samples, hence the credit.
