How different are your PSB tastes from those of the majority of PSB fans?

Love Legacy, good to see it has some love. I still don't get the opprobrium for it.

I think Undertow is one of their weakest tracks.

Like Saturday Night Forever and Footsteps.

Never liked Shameless. Production isn't great and it's grating.

Many of the singles or single-like tracks from the past 15 years fall flat for me. They sound of trying too hard. Undertow and burn are the latest in this list. Burn has some appeal, but it's a song that goes nowhere and lets the possible euphoria drift away with the album mix.

I find much of the last decade difficult to listen to given the loudness of the mastering. I seem to be the only one in this camp. I realize this is a truth for most records currently. It works okay for Electric, but would still prefer some "space" in the music. I think Yes was the first album that was really bad with the loudness. The wars are over and loudness won.

Still like The Night I Fell In Love. A sweet, charming, and funny track. Email is that way too. to quote Robert Chistgau (which I rather not, but here goes):
"The Eminem track is . . . wondrous, transcendent, a blow against rap homophobia, a great work of art. If buying this album is the only way you can hear it, don't hesitate. Form a pool if you have to. "

Memory of the Future is a straight bore.

I almost never listen to Very. Many great tracks, even some of their best, but as a whole, I can't sit through it.

I'm With Stupid is exactly the kind of track I want more of. Bring back that biting wit and unique production. Love it.

I've become more mainstream fan on Behaviour over the years. 20 years ago I didn't really "get" Being Boring. Now I fully do. And I see the album as the masterwork that most others do. I did always love This Must Be The Place and it has become my number 1 PSB track, beating Opportunities, which honestly, I'm kind of sick of at this point, even though it was my previous number 1. The one track on Behaviour that I don't care for and always sounds flat is Jealousy. It's a well crafted song with good lyrics but it just doesn't do it for me. I wish End of the World was the last track and they had stuck It Must Be Obvious somewhere on the album, which is a glorious track.

I’ve never been a massive fan of What Have I Done To Deserve This? Still bought it at the time though but even in1987 thought it a bit “meh” after the over the top goth disco triumphant return of Its A Sin. The What have I done to deserve this? mixes do nothing either. Still don’t “get” Dusty 32 years later.

Love Is A Catastophe however, I still think is utterly triumphant!

-I'm not that big of a fan of Behaviour.
-Being Boring is ok but not in my top 10. I'm more into up tempo songs.
-Bilingual is my favourite album. It was the first album of theirs I bought since becoming a fan in 1999.
-I loved Chris's long hair in 2003-2004. I would love to see it back.

I have never really liked ‘Loves Comes Quickly’.

I have always put it down to being in a musical key that I’m not suited to. Plus it’s too slow for a song that has ‘quickly’ in the title.

i'm very passionate about their material all the way up to Behaviour. Very was the game changer for me. mainly because i just prefer the old 80's synth sounds, and sequencing that the early songs had. Very(and everything after it) always sounded "newer" to me. however, they've never stopped writing good songs, as i still listen to the more recent stuff. i can't say that with other 80's bands that i've grown apart from that are still around today.
