It's Bananarama.

They played at The Roundhouse earlier this year.
That wasn't for the hoi polloi though.

Hope they don’t play anything off agenda. Too obvious and worthy

It says this is "the only UK show" this year they'll be performing this year. I have to admit, I would say The Roundhouse DOES count as a UK show, irrespective of who had the financial capacity to attend....

It was a charity event were they did 2 songs, hardly a concert. You may as well add that Thursday where they popped out to Waitrose for a sandwich a UK appearance...

The special guest is bound to be either Olly from Years and Years on the first single from the new album, or possibly Jean-Claude Juncker dueting with Neil on You Only Tell Me You Love Me When You're Drunk.

If it turns out to be Frances Barber I'm putting my foot through the BBC red button and sending her the bill! ;-)

I think Dreamland is planned to be the first single from the new album and obviously the duet will be with Olly Alexander.

every PSB song played on Radio 2 is followed by a mention of the boys headlining the Hyde Park gig :D

On a side note - I must admit the new Bananarama song has worked it's pop magic on me. Radio 2 have been spinning this a bit and it's quite a catchy number: https://youtu.be/8vDtgqyPW3k
you could say conventional ... and I could claim intentional

Agreed! Actually, much of their new album is great!! Love the track produced by Richard X and there's also a great one written/produced/remixed by Bright Light, Bright Light!

With the new single coming out in September, I guess it'll be played at this concert.
