Alexander Place - nice tie in with Olly’s surname.

Nice ironic touch: Alexanderplatz is a dump. That said, it's a dump with a touch of character.

I’m UK. Just put Pet Shop Boys Dreamland into Google and scroll down your results until you find a Spotify link. The song isn’t live yet though.
Did exactly this before you posted, got it!

It looks like the artwork is from this station in particular.

So, if this is indeed the first single from the new album, we could be looking at an U-Bahn map as the album artwork inspiration. Or some tiles. Amazing.

Drico.

PS All flippancy aside, I quite enjoy the nonsense speculation about trivial things that accompanies a new album campaign.

Looks more like a Years & Years cover art than a Pet Shop Boys. In other words certainly different from what we expected. Like the cover art to Memory of the future.

Design isn’t trivial! Outrageous.

A snippet here! Sounds a bit bland and generic.. :o
Have a look at my taste in music:
http://www.last.fm/user/NikacPokac

That’s the thing about negative energy, about hatred. It can be positive. It throws into relief all the things you know you like. It tells you, by elimination, what you’re about. Sometimes you can only define yourself by what you hate. Hatred becomes an inspiration; it makes you think, “What I’m doing now I totally believe in, and I don’t care what other people say.” Guided by hatred, you don’t have to follow the herd. - Neil Tennant

Not sure if I can resist to play this snippet, but now it's a time to face the reality. I was hoping it wouldn't happen and now I have very low expectations, because I cannot stand Y&Y. They're just...bland and generic. Good descripion, NikacP0kac. See no reasons to employ them, but this is also not my song.
I've been around the world for a number of reasons. I've seen it all the change of seasons, and I, my lord, may I say nothing?

So it's four-on-the-floor disco. Not usually my kind of thing...

Can we all just wait to actually, you know, hear the record before judging it, condemning it, and banishing it to the far, unnavigable reaches of the catalogue where it will forever silently orbit Disco 2 in the notorious, ice-bound company of Winner, E-Smoove, and In Private with Elton John?

I mean, surely we can at least wait for the inevitable poll (sample text: "Even though you haven't heard it at all, how bad is Dreamland? Select an option on a scale of 1-10 where 1 is appalling and 10 is time to neck a bottle of bleach".
