I like something to look at and appreciate. So for me there doesn't seem very much to appreciate there. Still, I guess it provokes a response and makes the anticipation of the new album increase in me. As an aside, but related my favourite album cover and it's not really the cover but the inner sleeve. It is of course the inner sleeve of the boys first album "Please". I love all those thumbnail photos. A work of art to me. So much so that I have please album cover and inner sleeve framed on my mancave wall. Oh, and the album is brilliant to. I was 17 when it came out and 34 years later I still play it and love it.

I think Jamie1978 has summed in up well. Id also say it would be a decent marketing strategy, as you'd have to pick the album up to read who it is.

I like it. The blurring/mirror image may have something to do with the as yet unknown title. And may convey the overall message of the album pictorially.

Then again it could have been a mistake and we're all barking up the wrong tree.

I actually think it's a bit of both. It's not the cover. Possibly a shot for the inside album artwork?

My i-tunes pre-order on my phone has automatically updated with this image. Been like that for a couple of days now. I'm guessing it is the album cover then?
