The vocal to Monkey Business is definetly double tracked. If you listen with headphones you can hear where he didnt nail the double especially on the shouty parts.

I LOVE the description of Wilo the wisp as an electro trance monster. It is!

Replace "You are the one" and "Wedding in Berlin" with "An open mind" and "Decide", then you have an album with no weakspots.

With a "greatest hits" tour coming, the track list echoing Pet Shop Boys from across the decades is bang on the money for casual fans picking up the most recent release. Dancing commenced on second listen.
It's just my little tribute...

Will-o-the-wisp gives me a strong Undertow vibe with its massive intro and then banging and lasers kick in. And like with Undertow I just can't shake off the feeling that the intro was promising a different kind of melody or song. At the 0:31 mark my brain was expecting the intro melody to continue with full-on drums and intensity, but instead got a different melody. It's a great song though, I like it a lot more than Undertow.

Replace Dreamland with No boundaries? At least I like it a lot more, personally.

I had my first proper listen today. I like it  I don't know if it is my Mum's HIFI but, it seems quite bassy. Not sure about the Wedding song though!

Burning the Heather, with Decide as it’s B-Side is, for me, the greatest single release combo since It’s a Sin and YKWYWW..... The album version of BTH is just perfection.

You just know that Will O The Wisp intro will be the new intro on tour if they modify the tracks they play when they tour this fall. Like Axis and Inner Sanctum was. A grand powerful opening.

I adore this song but i'm so used to the edit version that the full version is nearly like a new song to me.

Yeah the album version of BTH requires me to re-learn it all over again ... I can see why they did the radio edit ... both versions are ace to be fair.
you could say conventional ... and I could claim intentional

Anyone take notice of the way Neil says “rented flat” in Will-o-the-wisp? You can almost see the sly grin and it makes me chuckle!!
LOVE this bit ...
