It’s time to make up your mind
It’s time to make up your mind
Do we want to fight
or do we want to love?
Can’t we just live together?
Do we want to stay
or do we want to run?
Could this dream not last forever?
It’s time to make up your mind
Do we want to sink
or do we want to swim?
The rain can’t last forever
Do we want to die
or do we want to live?
Surely we belong together?
It’s never too late
Fight for love
or love to fight
Oh, what have we done?
What have we done?
It’s never too late
It’s never too late
Fight for love
or love to fight
Oh, what have we done?
What have we done?
To me, writing, recording and releasing this track on the date they did is a very real manifestation of love, kindness and compassion. I thank the boys for doing this. It is a beautiful reminder that you do not need permission of the government (whether you like them or not) to have, cultivate and express these positive human qualities.
I was thinking the exact same thing this morning and that’s what stopped me spiralling into an abyss of despair over the cabinet we have ended up with. We are governed, but we are primarily human and we can show kindness and tolerance and compassion even when our elected leaders do not. There is a bigger picture and we are answerable to ourselves (and I assume some people would also say to God... but I wouldn’t). This is all sounding a bit much but fundamentally we can exist outside of polarised politics.

(I’m typing this after giving a pint of blood and then drinking three glasses of wine so it all sounds quite overblown and ridiculous but the sentiment at the core of it is valid.)

Actually, I thought it was lucid and beautiful, so you're doing well Nicholas.

What "Do we want to love" mean in the context of the song ? I have an idea but not sure.

alig's comment was not political. It was just one huge slur on millions of people, not to mention being a pack of lies. Normally I'd let stuff like this go but after last night I think people like him should be sterilised.
So people like me supporting the Jewish people and who hate antisemites and communist fascists should be sterilised? Yes, I slurred all antisemites incl. Corbyn and Ken Livingstone.

Saying the phrase 'communist fascist' unironically just goes to show the level of your political illiteracy, don't embarass yourself just because you dislike a party leader.

There's also offtopic 2 for dark sided things. Feel free to post these things there.
This amazing song deserves better.

I don't think he is per se, he's just too dense to think that hanging around with Hamas and other actual anti semites et al may not rub off on him reputation wise. He's still stuck in an era of sixth form naive politics like his Momentum acolytes.
Corbyns' hypocrisy and lack of honesty was shown by his turn to remain after a career of being an anti EU advocate
Still waiting to hear the Adam Freeland, Manhattan Clique and Axwell mixes of Integral.

The deliberate split between the lyrics of the 1st half (pre-decision) and 2nd half (post-decision) is almost like a reminder that there were things like love, kindness and compassion before the U.K. was absorbed into a bureaucratic supra-national institution of governance.

Sorry, but I can’t see any love, kindness or compassion in the reasons given by pro brexit parties before the referendum.

OK, but what you can or cannot see doesn't change the reality of what other people do or do not think or feel. One aspect of love is openness - and it is therefore loving to be open and receptive to hearing other people's honest perspectives, whether they align with our views or not.

Either way, I think that's deviating off-topic and to Future Lover's suggestion, is probably better suited to OT or OT2.

After a few listens, I actual enjoy the "Decide" remix better than the original track. If PSB ever decide to properly record and release those dark techno tracks from the "Super" writing sessions, these CYA chaps would be the perfect producers!
