Questions for Neil

#1 Post by Niall » Wed 18 Dec 2019, 4:21 pm

I found out today I have 20 mins on the phone with Neil (I’m presuming just Neil) on January 10. If there’s anything you want to ask him that you haven’t already sent to Literally, post it here and hopefully I’ll still have time to ask him.

Maybe a heavy subject: What does he think about Russia's politics nowadays?

I'd really like to know if they will ever release studio versions of live versions - I've mentioned before. but the Performance versions of several songs would def warrant a release. Amongst many others, inc. the Hacienda gig for eg.
in suits or sequins/or twin sets and pearls

I agree, Glenn. I’m going to ask why Decide wasn’t on the album. And thanks, Tom, good questions.

I would like to know if the issues that have prevented 'It Couldn't Happen Here' from being re-released have been resolved.

Thanks for asking Niall -

1. Why no burning the heather cd single?
2. Any news on ‘it couldn’t happen here’ dvd or ‘a man from the future’ releases?
Just for the sake of it, make sure you're always frowning. :|

What does Neil think about jean-Michel Jarre's Eon project, where an algorythm generates new music indefinitely.
Would psb do such a thing ?

Did they write "Decide" during the same writing sessions as "Agenda"?

I have one, not sure you'll dare ask though...

...how long did they deliberate over closing the album with Wedding in Berlin?

I have been tormented by several questions for a long time:
1. Why psb do not sing live songs with bilingual. The exception Sevida e that I loved, but other songs are unrealistic.
2. Why didn’t they release a beautiful concert of 2012 with an orchestra? It featured the most beloved songs in large numbers, especially Survivors.
3. Do you plan to release concerts Highlights 1989, Discovery 1994 on dvd and blu-ray? These are my favorite performances of sounding arrangements.

Thank you Niall. I would like to ask in what ways has their working relationship with Stuart Price evolved over the course of the trilogy.
