When while out clubbing you asked Chris why the Pet Shop Boys "don't sound like" the track that was playing and Chris replied "This is us"... what PSB track was it? And why did you want to sound like that?

From 1 to 10 how much interest in new music you have in a day by day basis compared to lets say the release of Actually ? Has that change over the years ? If yes how so ?

Has Neil succumbed to the vinyl revival himself or does he only purchase digital versions of music?

Why did you eventually abandon the idea of releasing One and One Make Five as a single (second, third etc.)? It was originally your own first choice before EMI decided to replace it with Can You Forgve Her.

Because EMI decided to replace it with Can you forgive her (like they did with Sodom and gomorah).

I think its important to keep in mind he is doing these interviews for the sole purpose of promoting the new CD, so it might be better to do questions relating to the songs and recording rather than machine gun him with our deep fanboy questions.

after all I suspect thats why you are being given access to the new album and then given an interview. one question I think is related is if they would do a track by track interview session for Hotspot like they did for YES and Elysium

I think most of the Hotspot related questions are answered in the new Annually. Looking forward to that one btw.

Has your decision-making on singles choices changed now that looking for “hits” is no longer relevant, and if so, how?

Which, if any, PSB singles do you now think should not have been? Which album tracks / B sides do you think could/should have been singles?

What’s your favourite 30 seconds from any PSB track?

I’d also be interested in any thinking / planning around the GH Tour, and whether we can expect something more theatrical or with more of a narrative thread.
Love comes quickly, but is a catastrophe and a bourgeois construct etc.

Why have you stopped releasing music videos that are worth watching when there's millions of people watching on youtube and sharing them on social media et al.?

It didn't answer the question. It could be a second or third single.
I've been around the world for a number of reasons. I've seen it all the change of seasons, and I, my lord, may I say nothing?

I would be interested to know if they had their eye on any particular producers for the album after Hotspot? Are they still interested in working with Brian Eno?
I'd like to second this question... not so much the Brian Eno part, but the question about producers in general.

The Stuart Price trilogy (whether it was "concept" or mere "contractual convenience") is now complete. It's the first time they've had to give this question much serious thought since leaving Parlophone.

Retro. :)
