Agenda instead of Hotspot

#1 Post by telys »

I am hugely disappointed by Hotspot. As somebody else pointed out on this forum N & C yet again fail to put the adequate tracks on an album, filling it with b-side material. And the lyrics are really sub-par. Perhaps it's because there is no record company saying 'no' anymore.
Anyway, I decided to replace Hotspot with an extended version of Agenda. I prefer the vision of Agenda and the songs have a harder hit, not like some of the bleak tracks on Hotspot.
So here is the new PSB record: Agenda - a political concept album . Disco 5 (formerly known as Hotspot) will be released later in 2020.

1. What are we going to do about the rich
2. On social media
3. Give stupidity a chance
4. Dreamland
5. An open mind
6. Happy People
7. Hoping for a miracle
8. Burning the heather
9. The forgotten child
10. For every moment (with Neil singing of course)

I am amazed at how some people think they know better than the PET SHOP BOYS.

Nonsense, that should've been the name of Hotspot.

Yep, isn't it amazing, some of us actually do, like it should be. Somebody should tell them what to do, a record company or a producer preferably.

Can’t agree Telys, sorry. Apart from Wedding In Berlin, I’m with you on that one.
Just for the sake of it, make sure you're always frowning. :|
It shows the world that you've got substance and depth.

Having the trite patronising crap of Give Stupidity A Chance followed by An Open Mind could be their most genuinely ironic moment.
Still waiting to hear the Adam Freeland, Manhattan Clique and Axwell mixes of Integral.

Well that song alone is enough to ruin the whole album.

Nah, just stop at the end of track 9.

I’d rather delete every PSB album from my phone than listen to Agenda ever again. But... I appreciate your willingness to share a negative option; it’s frowned upon here.
I sincerely *love* Disco 2 and listen to it straight through regularly.
