Just been announced that the government will be banning all public gatherings of 500+ people effective from next Saturday.

The tour will now absolutely be postponed. It’s just a matter of them organising and re-scheduling dates TBA.

Literally every other artist has announced postponed tour dates!

In Ireland it is. Every major venue in the country, even the 3Arena, has shut down and postponed everything.

Pubs are still open though, so yay for all the idiots that are going to be crammed into them over the next few days becoming a petri dish for the virus to spread!

Not “announced”; “Government sources say” - i.e. this is speculation. I am sure it is correct and that it will happen but the distinction is important.

I know this is no consolation to anyone who gets sick, but they are saying the infection rate is a way out of this as this is how immunity happens with these viruses. they run thru the population, do its thing and people get immunity and thus a vaccine can be created.

I have been taking the flu vaccine for upwards of 10 years and I have never gotten it. yes I know there are exceptions to the rule,but for me, they have worked.

That's right...they are in the middle of programming the new versions of the tour music and in rehearsals...it must be so crazy for them...just like all of us!!!! 6 weeks until Berlin!!!!! MAYBE!!!!!!!

i voted no, when it first was announced.

wish i could change my vote to yes now.

although, there doesn't seem to be many restrictions in the UK

Same here all. Some here still "don't get it" though. We were on the bus outward last week and a woman was sneezing everywhere. Didn't cover it or even use a tissue. And the bus back home a man was coughing everywhere. A bit of sense and hygiene would not go a miss. - Sorry, to moan - not your fault! People should think of others much more.

Hello guys, a greeting from Spain.

I have tickets for May 1 at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin, but I'm assimilating that you won't be able to leave.

The only thing I hope is that instead of cancelling it, they will postpone it for another date as I want to go to Berlin.
