BBC have polled Always on my mind at number 1 a few times. (Greatest Xmas number one, Best cover version). So, it could happen again here.

Wow! Which song? I really hope it's West End girls, not Always on my mind.

Excuse me, but where is Ed Sheeran? I don't like him but he was trending artist with a lot of number 1's.
And of course I'm happy with the Boys

That's great. Feels good doesn't it?
It is an iconic song which has worn very well as that recent version showed. Obviously a subjective list, but objectively it is definitely a top 5 British number one so yeh why not? Oh it is so annoying that they aren't touring now and not doing Glastonbury in a couple of weeks.

"Well, I still like it. I still feel the pathos of it. I always thought there’s a sense of loser-ness with our music. Or a sympathy with the people who are left out. If there’s ever an overt celebration of glamour, it’s probably satire."

Don't read the comments. 35 years on and people still resort to the same type of asinine bs opinions.
Still, I guess, congrats to Neil & Chris for this pointless accolade!
