Well, there is no way I'm going to sit through 4 hours of Classic FM, just to listen to Neil talk bollocks for 3 minutes.

I've had enough of his shit ('After All is the best song we've ever written' etc), to be honest. He's getting rather predictable.

He's an old man though. Give a bit of slack.

But After all is one of the best songs they have ever written, it's so much more moody than anything they've done in ages. It's a much more viable statement than when he said Happiness is an option was his favourtie track on Nightlife.

'After All' is a fantastic song (one of their best in a while) in the context of the Potemkin album but I doubt it would stand up well on the new album. 'No Time For Tears' is also good but I wouldn't want it included on the new album either!

Well, according to Neil, both of those songs would be on the new album if they were not on Potemkin. So, it doesnt seem like that assumption (higher quality songs on the new album) is going be necessarily true.

'After all' is good, I like it, but to call it 'one of the best songs we have ever written' is quite clearly delusional at best.

They wrote it - and I would suggest that means that they are entitled to an opinion, as indeed we all are. Delusional is a bit strong I reckon.
