Not Annie Lennox beating her chest. That contrived woman depresses me.

I voted Alison Moyet but only because I didn't see Grace Jones. So knock one off for Alison and give one to Grace.

I would have loved a Kirsty collaboration. What a beautiful voice she had. I'm sure PSB liked her, but was the feeling mutual after they stopped Fairytale Of New York from hitting the Crimbo No.1 spot?

As for Frida, although I prefer the sound of Agnetha's voice, it's another worthy suggestion but with Erasure having covered six ABBA tracks I'd say the chances are as remote as the Swedish island of Furillen.

She told me last year that she'd really love to work with the boys.

But strangely, when I suggested perhaps she could still record the song PSB sent her in 2003 for the Mixed Up World album (but had arrived too late to use it) she went on about wanting to do something brand new with them, as it didn't fit in with where she was now, blah blah blah...

Anyway, the song they sent her has been recorded by another act since then.

I suppose if a collaboration with SEB is gonna happen then it'd be PSB who have to make the move. Iggy Pop summed it up best in a recent interview in the Independent:

Q: You reunited with the founding members of the Stooges when recording Skull Ring, do you think you will ever reunite with David Bowie to make any new music?

A: You never know. The way etiquette in the rock world works is that the larger giant approaches the smaller giant so that would be entirely out of my curfew.

OK, here's a slight clue.

Although the song for Sophie has been recorded by at least one other act, said composition has yet to be released.

Though maybe we don't have too long to wait now.

no annie lennow please, she is has been, and she has really nothing special, especially his voice and her music. And she made the horrible sweat dreams, that i cannot bear, it's too much going on and on on the radio. So it would be a ridiculous choice. And what a silly name , annie lennox ! i really don't want this woman involve in psb carreer.

Silly name? :?

It's a fairly common, British name. Unless you think all our names are silly?

Answer carefully.

Annie Lennox is too busy saving the world that she's forgotten how to write a decent pop song.
