It's a nice B-Side, as such I like it. On the album?, only if to replace the putrid " In denial ". Now that's a thing that truly deserves to be dragged forth from the ( creative ) womb and murdered

I hate Denial too. In fact they should have taken all the musical numbers off.

The inclusion of Nightlife would of course have created something Pet Shop Boys Boys have always avoided - the 'title track'.

More examples: "Waiting for the Sun" by The Doors. The song with that title didn't appear until two albums later, Morrison Hotel.
The song "Cucumber castle" was on Bee Gees 1st before an album with that title was released in 1970.
Not to forget "SUGAR TAX" by OMD from the Album Sugar Tax. Should have been on the album but Virgin didn't*** to wait until the track was finished and so the planned B-Side Apollo XI was on the album instead.

No, because it would have sounded out of place. Plus, it's not that great.

It will probably be included on the Further Listening release when it comes out.
