7.5 (-0.5 from 3.18 onwards)

but am getting nervous..will there be no big dance nos in the album :eh:
I was born in a hospital room with green walls, the doctor who delivered me wore a green overall, so did the nurses hovering around. So much greenery around, its no wonder that it is my favourite colour !

I Like it quite much, a soul lifter for me (facing some difficult times right now), and to be honest for me it's a better 1st single than "I'm with stupid, tupid, tupid, tupiiiid"...

Yeah, I too had hoped this track to be more of a "stomper" really!

Anyway I gave "Invisible" a 6 and I enjoy "Winner" more, so it gets 7.

However I can see (or hear), that in the long run "Invisible" is probably more of a quality track, that grows with each listening, while "Winner" is a winner right from the start and has the risk of fading into the invisible...

I actually like Invisible better. I give Invisible and 8, I give Winner a 7 or 7.5. But my opinion could change.

It's grown on me, I voted 7. I think it'll be prove to get a lot of airplay during the Olympics.

The only problem is, the curse of the PSB's means that it'll be Team GB's worst Olympics in history, much as when they finally released "It Doesn't Always Snow At Christmas" it did, knee deep

I'm predicting though that it may be a bit of a standalone single prior to the album and doesn't necessarily indicate the style of music on "Elysium", hence why they let "Invisible" out which may be more aligned with the rest of the album. I prefer "Invisible".

We don't know the true meaning if this is especially made for the Olympics or a more saying goodbye.

I only vote songs from 5 refuse to go lower.

    If it's for

    Olympics 6
    Goodbye 7.5

I completely look at the song very differently if it's the first steps at a career ender.

    agreed !

everyone wet their pants, thinking its Trevor Horn and we'd get another Left to my own devices  and all we got were synth stabs and Neil squeaking. 8 of 10 times I always skip that song..

I suspect this will be one of my favourites on Elysium. It is strange that my favourite song an album is usually "love at first listen". If there will be more tracks that I like better this one will still be up there on the frequent plays list.

I'll give it a 8. Not perfect, not one of their absolute best but still a song I really like a lot.

Whoever gave it a 10 (or anything above six for that matter) clearly have cabbages in their ears.
