An easy 5/10 for me. Rather bland track in my opinion. Nothing there to spark my interest. A nice track, just not my favourite thing.

8/10 musically, 5/10 lyrically. I'm SICK of Neil's songs of celebrity.
I sincerely *love* Disco 2 and listen to it straight through regularly.

10/10. It gets better with each listen and feels quite unlike anything in their discography. It almost feels like it could've been part of the VCMG album…only better.

8/10
I like the sound, but at times it feels rather empty. There are parts where just nothing happens - the music stays repetitive and Neil doesn't sing. Talking about singing: when I first heard the song, I immediately thought "this needs more lyrics". Later on I discovered an interview where Neil said that they decided to scrap more than 50% of the lyrics, which I think was a fatal decision.

A definite 10, this and "Love Is...." the highlights of "Electric".

10 for me. I love it. It's so dark and haunting then the 'brighter and brighter ...' kicks in and I get goosebumps
I get out of bed at half past ten...i wish

8/10. Loving the dark bass and sexy feel of the song. But it kind of lacks something.

One of the best PSB songs of the last 20 years.
Probably my favorite PSB song since The Theatre!
It's 9.5 , but I rounded it off to 10. I reserve 10 for only my favorite songs ever and those are so far: Being Boring and Domino Dancing (and maybe Always On My Mind/In My house).
I actually love how the lyrics are so sparse so I'm always anxiously waiting for the vocal to come back, plus PSB don't overkill the chorus like at the end of Bolshy.
Re: Rating: "Fluorescent"
This was my first listen review:
4. Fluorescent - Cinematic magnificence on an IMAX scale!
I loved this from the teaser and the full track delivers and then some. Lot's of depth here and looking forward to exploring it more. Wish there was another outing of the chorus at the end.
... Now about 20 listens on, I still feel it is a fascinating track ... but like West End Boy, a few more lyrics would take this from a 9 to a 10.
