...and this just appeared on Twitter, I hope to come home with lots of nicely designed PSB-related goodies!

Well fellow Petheads, I'm VERY EXCITED to report that I have been booked as the DJ supporting the "domino dancing" component of the Symposium event –– a 3-hour PSB-only set on Friday night to conclude this unique academic event. Details are still being sorted, but I am SO thrilled to have been contacted by the event organisers to DJ this intimate and creative event. And of course I can't wait to meet several of you fellow Petheads in person! YAY!!!

Wow, congrats, very exciting news! Hope you give some previews as to what you'll be spinning, i.e. obscure tracks, b-sides, etc.! Wish I could be there!! 8)

Hi all,

I'm the organiser of the Pet Shop Boys Symposium in Edinburgh. So great to see forum threads devoted to our event! In case you missed it, we released the full programme for the symposium yesterday. You can find it here: http://bit.ly/1PYg9Tk

Really glad to see some of you are going to be joining us! There are still some tickets left, but more than half of them have already gone...

  You guys are amazing!

I've started to organize this SUPER exciting playlist and I'm already up to 4 hours worth of music! I'm going to be focusing mainly on proper extended versions, remixes that retain the vocals, and the occasional dancey album track. Definitely going to keep it on the dancefloor vibe, given that this is a "Domino dancing" event

For those of you who are attending, let me know if there are any particular remixes/tracks you'd like to hear and I'll see what I can do

Thanks Remark! I fancy the Coconut 1 remix of Yesterday, when I was mad, I first heard it on a dancefloor before it was released and it sounded great!

Great choice Sandy! I'm going to have to dig up the vinyl copy (which has the extended Coconut 1 mix) and see if it works in the set! It has such a fast BPM! But it is a great mix!
