New news from official site (9 tracks with Trevor Horn)

#1 Post by Joemoz »

"Epic" and "electro-pop"...sounds good to me :D As does "spring" 2006.

In the studio - 22 July '05
Neil and Chris are currently working on a new batch of four songs for their next album with producer Trevor Horn, making a total of nine tracks. The latest four are described as "more electro--pop" than the first "epic" five Horn has produced. The Dianne Warren composition, "Numb", originally recorded for the "PopArt" compilation and produced by Trevor Horn, will also feature on the new album to be released in Spring, 2006.

10 tracks with him, might be the first consistent album they have done for a while.
Still waiting to hear the Adam Freeland, Manhattan Clique and Axwell mixes of Integral.

Sounds very good. I just hope that the PSB version of Numb won't sounds as awful as the Diane Warren, which I disliked...

Didn't they say, after Release, that in the next studio album they had to work again with Cris Zippel?

Yes Andrea,

and I remember Adam F being mentioned also...I really like Adam F and C.Zippel, so I hope their productions will be included too (hoping for a Double CD album, here  )

Release was very consistent. Consistently crap.
Does cameos only.

Who needs confirmation when there are pictures to prove it?

What will happen to the tracks they made in Italy with Abe Duque? Will they make it to the final cut or will they be b-sides and the album will have just one co-producer?

Anyway, this thing about 5 epic songs (one being "Numb") and 4 electro-pop songs, all of them with Trevor Horn, sounds like an almost finished promising album. :boo:

Maybe they've been rerecorded or finished off with Mr Horn.

Neil and Chris got fed up with Adam F when doing Miracles. Stuart Crichton was called in to save that song.

Knowing the way the PSB work, I wouldn't be surprised if one or more of the Trevor Horn tracks end up as b-sides. So the actual album might not be such a mega-Horn-opus as we're led to believe.
