Hidden somewhere amongst my PSB paraphenalia, I have an interview from late 1984 in which Neil indicates that the Pets are gay. It's funny how they changed their minds once they became successful...

Ditto. I recall they asked them in PopCorn about George Michael and his 'I want your sex'

Neil replied that it didn't do any good for public conscience, that they were both gay but did not live together.

A few more thoughts on Chris' declaration:

Does anyone have the quote where Neil says something to the effect of not Coming Out by the time you are 40 is inexcusable ?

This isn't much of a surprise, since I've been reading for quite some time that PSB are a " Gay " act and there hasn't been a lot of legal action taken when this has been printed.
