He may have, but not formally in an interview. That's the difference.

He did heavily hint in that direction on the About CD, as an example though.

There's been other occasions before and after that, too.

Jesus, about bloody time.

I must confess I was getting a little bored of Chris's embarrasing denial/ambiguity regarding his sexuality.

Good to see that he has finally grown up regarding the issue.

I think Chris should visit www.cure-for-homosexuality.com as quickly as possible.

Oh, I don't know...I don't see why anyone should be obliged to announce their sexuality one way or the other, just as they are not obliged to announce (for instance) whether or not they are vegetarian, or what underwear they have on. As long as they are, it will continue to be a big deal to some people.
I'm sure that Chris' friends and family have been aware of his sexuality for sometime, and as for everyone else, it's none of their business frankly.
Perhaps there should be a space under each persons avatar on this website: sexuality.

I think Neil's Attitude interview was far more embarrassing than Chris' stance who simply is an introvert and uncomfortable to speak in public, especially about his private life.

I wonder why they still allow questions about their homosexuality to be asked. Neil especially sounds like a broken record on these issues by now.
Lou Reed for example refuses to talk about Andy Warhol and The Velvet Underground, and earlier this year I saw Rupert Everett on Italian telly stating that he never spoke in an interview about being gay - which is of course wrong, but his reaction is perfectly understandable since people a r e making a big deal about homosexuality all the time when they ask questions like "As a gay man ... (blabla)".

Yeah, but Chris always made an issue out of it, by refusing to discuss it and coming up with bizarre 'theories' that it was really strange how we defined people by their sexuality.

I see gay guys like him all the time - concerned about how their sexuality impacts on other peoples perceptions of them. To the exent that they basically deny it, in a completely implausible manner.

Ah fair enough. I can't really judge that either way not being gay myself.
Whoops, there's my sexuality out of the bag! :)

It´s because of my computer. If I copy that interview to word pad it doesn´t print the text just blank page. I´ve tried dozens of times.
I´m really happy that Chris has finally started to talk about his sexuality openly. Maybe now we could hear some things from the past too. :D

Ehm, does this matters at all? I'm absolutely not interested in this topic and I think most people already knew. Why would I bother about his sexuality and everything connected with it? It's his private thing and he don't need telling us. Maybe not since 1986 but I think it wasn't too much of a enigma.
