I think the 'Please' sales figures are not included in the chart.

But neither are the figures for "Circus".

'The Circus' was released in March '87 and its sales are probably included.
Anyway, apparently both bands have sold the same amount of albums in the UK.

Right, the one that Erasure are missing is 'Wonderland', which I think must have sold less than 'Please'.

It can also be said that the figures are missing the sales for Nightbird – although with its majestic chart run of two weeks it will hardly rocket Erasure up the chart.
