I read that report in the Nottingham evening post. Was beyond gutted that i missed seeing him. i was working at ng1 as well! why didn't he go there?!?!
i've not got a scanner unfortunately, however the article from Nottinghams evening post read as follows :
"One half of the Pet Shop Boys, reclusive and dour keyboard tapper Chris Lowe (below right), was in The Works nightclub with a stag party last friday night.
Sounds unlikely, we know. Our source said he was very friendly and chatty, but very anti-celebrity and declined having his picture taken.
He told our man from EG that he and Neil Tennant are currently working on a 'back to the roots' album with top producer and ex- Buggle Trevor Horn in London"
Sorry i can't scan it, but that was the full article. the picture included was of Chris with his back to the camera and hands behind.
Ooh, I didn't know it had been in the paper. By the way, The Evening Post report is identical to what I was told last Saturday morning, which rather suggests the source is the same - the police, believe it or not!

For PSB Freak: http://www.thisisnottingham.co.uk is the newspaper's website. I have had a look for the story, but I can't find it. The Evening post does let you order photographs, however...

Neil's nephew lives in Nottingham so maybe it was his stag do, maybe Neil was there with Chris...?
