Bottom line -- if you want Amazon to foot the bill for postage, you should accept when they're ready to ship it. It costs more to ship multiple packages.I'm not misunderstanding anything, obviously people who pay for postage should have their order go out first, Amazon is clear about this fact. My gripe is with the fact that if I order two items readily available and a third item that takes approx. two weeks to despatch I'm willing to wait the two, three weeks until the order should be all ready to go, however I don't think I should have to wait two months to get all the items because the third item is still not available and everything else has been put on hold, I've made an order in good faith on the basis of information provided and should Amazons sysytems be inaccurate it is their lookout not the consumers
Really, if it looks like it's going to take a while due to one item then cancel the order and remake it without that item.
