This was actually said on a TV chat show programme in Ireland- I think Drico mentioned it some time ago.

Although I can't see much of NT in Chris Martin, he definitely has been influenced by Bono in his charity work.

Similarly, Robbie Williams once said he wanted to be a cross between Neil Tennant and Michael Hutchence.

As much as I love Robbie though, he appears to be a cross between Norman Wisdom and Freddie Mercury instead. :eh:
