I like it. It's a spooky song, but very enjoyable with some nice bass.

I think it's a cool track as well 8)

Some speculation would fit nicely on the album "tempted" by the waterlillies, which came out around the same time.

Where does the notion come from that this song is disliked by fans? It's not exactly up there with Electricity and The Sound of the Atom Splitting (both of which I sorta like) in the hall of pethead infamy. Some Speculation is certainly one of my own favorite b-sides.

Yah, "Some Speculation" is up there in the list of good songs.... as well as Sound of the Atom Splitting and Before which are bloody marvellous. I rest my case.

I love it. Particularly the beginning. Reminds me of something fantasy-like

It's a fine tune. Has an hypnotic quality about it.

It's one of my absolute favorites.
"Unprofessional? Us? Sir. Might I with due respect remind you that Mister Vandemar and myself burned down the City of Troy? We brought the Black Plague to Flanders. We have assassinated a dozen kings, five popes, half a hundred heroes and two accredited gods. Our last commission before this was the torturing to death of an entire monastery in sixteenth century Tuscany. We are utterly professional." - Mr Croup
