Native wrote:Techno - how have you got hold of a copy of the album? My understanding is that the tracklist is not decided yet and no actual promos have been made. The CD that PopJustice have is one of only a few that are Neil or Chris's personal copies and have only been given to people by either N or C...
My New Years resolution is to only give advice when teaching my students face to face, so no tips here dude. Oh, and CDRs, white labels & vinyl acetates are pressed before promos are made and I don't have any promos of the new album.

It's just you said in this very thread that the PROMOS you picked up were sealed. What ever CD you have, it may well be worth breaking open and listening to, because it is not a copy of 'Fundamental'.

What I meant were promo CDR's, obviously I wasn't in a good mood when I was typing this up.

So they actually seal promo CDR's. Why would they do that? Strange, don't you think?

I respect if he doesn't want to give us any download but a preview od Fundamental would be a good thing.

The CD-Reference, Yes. Sticker sealed, not shrinkwrap sealed. A lot of companies put a glossy 'If this sticker has been broken...' sticker on their CD-R's now. I know DM & Dido have it on theirs. What are you going to pay me to open up the damn thing? I want my stuff unopened. Unless you have £1000, I will not open it. No, make it £5000. Can't you wait for the CD to hit the shop shelves? It's only a few months away ffs! I don't have to open it the same way you don't have to buy things from me

Please be less material lover, play it and show us what you think about all the new stuff ! ! !
Art > Material love

But... I respect your point of view.
Happy New Year.

No. I know because I have a friend at Parlophone who knows exactly how many copies of the album have been given away (and it isn't many) and who has them. I just hope you didn't pay a fortune for what you've got, because it isn't the album...

Perhaps you can ask your friend if Chris Lowe has his numbered Internal copy of PopArtMix CDR? Only a handful of the Fundamental CDR's were handed out. Not that many at all. Perhaps your friend can tell us exactly how many Psychological 12" were pressed too? Perhaps.., the list of questions is too big, the chances are you wouldn't ask your friend just to spite me..?

Happy New Year
