Different versions of Fundamental

#1 Post by Greatdreamer »

Recently a lot of new releases have been available in different versions to allow price differentiation. Normally one sees a cheap CD only, a normal cd with booklet and a special edition with an additional DVD or book. Do you think something similar will happen with fundamental or is the release not major enough to justify such a line up?

It's major enough but not sure whether they will do it.

They won't. Probably there will be a "Limited edition" (meaning "with a cover that's sure to go to pieces within the next couple of month, doing normal usage") and a normal jewel case, as with Nightlife and Release.

Ooh, it'll have a special edition starting with the letter 'F' and ending with 'L' in about 11 months time. It'll be limited to friends of Neil and Chris, and feature 11 alternative mixes of 'The Resurectionists'. For the 1st anniversary of the album, a twelfth edition (numbered 12 but collecting all the letters for the first time) will be called 'On', and feature one CD where the boys discuss subjects ranging from test pressings to the 'borrowed' demos of Release and Closer to Heaven, and the truth behind Mike F's fallout with Redman.

What a special edition that will be! 8)

Keep taking the tablets, i'm sure after a couple more days they'll kick in.
You don't have to be beautiful, but it helps!
