VERY Interesting. :D ......and if I can just add, also from the official site:

Documentary - 22 February '06
An hour-long documentary about Pet Shop Boys is currently being filmed and will be shown on Channel 4 (in the UK) in May. A longer version will subsequently be released on DVD.

I remember the Docu. they did for 'Southbank' years ago. I'm looking forward to all this!

I think everyone should write to the US cable channel LOGO and ask if they could get the US rights to show this when it comes out. (it seems that this might be something they would be interested in showing)

(the documentary, not potemkin)

I fondly remember the Southbank show, too. I taped it & then loaned the tape to some friends about 8 years ago & haven't seen it since. Oh, well, I'll just have to wait & see if this new show turns up in the US someday..
I like it here ~~ wherever it is ...

Very interesting. I wonder if they will do Blackpool as well?! :P

1 May is an intriguing choice of date, given its socialist/communist overtones in Europe. (Monday 1 May is a national holiday in Britain this year, btw). Newcastle is quite a "red" city, I suppose!

The Northern Sinfonia are based in Gateshead rather than Newcastle, btw.

Presumably it is indoors so the numbers have to be limited.

It is now official- BP has overtaken Closer To Heaven as the most annoying, undying, bland side project that just won't go away.

I would rather see a Rocky Horror-style showing of It Couldn't Happen Here than this.....

I hope I'll get one or two days off and will
be able to join.
Unfortunately this event will take place on
a Thursday ... stupid. :eh:

To @ll who will go and join that Newcastle
event:
Have lots of fun or simply enjoy, don't for-
get to take photos etc. ... :D

A lot of time has passed by since I've been
to Newcastle/Tyne btw.

And now we know the reason for the delay
of 'Fundamental' album: Pets are supposed
to rehearse with that other orchestra ...

you have to apply for tickets for certain evets here in scotland even though they are free, its to avoid overcrowding which is wishfull thinking

BP is a great side-project for the Boys IMHO and if they want to play live and for free then bring it on!
Furious angels will bring you back to me
