I hope that DISCOVERY will be a dvd release. That's my favorite tour video; everybody just looks like they're having so much FUN!!

I like PERFORMANCE, and I even saw the MONTAGE tour in New York, but I look to DISCOVERY as the video I show my friends who don't really know much about the Boys. It's not too artsy-fartsy so the layman can ''get it'', but the semi-clad dancers add that  value to the uninitiated!

Never seen Discovery, can't wait for it to come out on DVD - wasn't there a mention of it on the offical site about if coming out this year?

Twizzle - shouldn't Closer to Heaven (slow version) be on that list?

No - it wasn't a B-side! Just appeared onthe 'Release' bonus disc, and a newspaper compilation CD.

No - it wasn't a B-side! Just appeared onthe 'Release' bonus disc, and a newspaper compilation CD.
Two problems with that arguement:
- The 2cd edition of Release was only available in the US and I think it's safe to say that it's the UK cataloge they base these things on. Also, since it was a bonus disc on a limited edition release it can't be considered as part of the album. If fact, that whole bonus disc could be considered b-sides.
- Friendly fire was on the newspaper compilation CD. Why is it considered a b-side?

Actually, I think the only valid logic would be a) it's considered the A side of the telegraph CD, b) the telegraph cd is considered a promo and not a proper single so it's disqualified and c) it more appropriately fits as a Nightlife Further Listening track.

It's not an argument, it's a fact: 'Closer To Heaven (Slow Version)' wasn't a B-side, 'Friendly Fire' was (additional audio track on the DVD single of 'I Get Along'). Simple. Agreed that 'Closer To Heaver (Slow Version)' ought to be on 'Nightlife - Further Listening' though.

I agree... "Friendly Fire" is not a b-side, but then again, it was never a regular UK album track. Nevertheless, it still does not make it a b-side.

"Friendly Fire" (as we all know) was issued as a track on the special CTH UK 4-track CD, and as bonus track on the US double disc version of Release.

'Friendy Fire' was a B-side! I have it on the 'I Get Along' single! See below from Lazo's discography for proof:

CD5-E: 2002 NL (Parlophone; 7243-5-51211-0 3) [CD1]
4:09 I Get Along (radio edit)
3:28 Searching For The Face Of Jesus
5:14 Between Two Islands
6:39 Home And Dry (blank & jones remix) ["blank and jones vocal"]
[CD-ROM content:]
4:19 I Get Along (the video)

CD5: 2002 NL (Parlophone; CDR 6581 / 7243-5-51192-2 3) [CD2]
4:46 I Get Along (live)
3:47 A Red Letter Day (live)
5:05 Love Comes Quickly (live)

DVD: 2002 NL (Parlophone; DVDR 6581) [manufactured in NL for UK]
5:42 I Get Along / E-Mail (video) [longer version w/parts of the track E-mail]
3:23 Friendly Fire
6:39 Home And Dry (blank & jones remix) ["blank and jones vocal"]

Definintely one to include in any theoretical "Alternative 2" - you can't argue with the discography!

It could be:

10 I get Along
9 Home and Dry
8 Absolutely Fabulous
7 If Love Were All

Oh thats enough p*ss taking.

I don't have a top ten....my moods and tastes change a lot when its comes to PSB....but it might look llike this (Note: In no particular order!!!)

Being Boring (extended mix)
Jealousy (extended version)
It's a Sin (Barfly version)
Minimal
So Sorry I Said
Numb
Integral
Left To My Own Devices
The Survivors

But on another day, they could be:

To Step Aside
Rent
To Face the Truth
Luna Park
Flamboyant (Tomcraft or Scissor Sisters Mix)
Always on My Mind
Opportunities (XFM version)
London Genuine Piano Mix
Can you Forgive Her (Swing Version)
West End Girls Barfly/XFM version

Fortunately, there are too many good tracks to choose from !
And you say you never believed in luck

What a pity, "The sodom and gomorrah show" doesn't appear on it.
