It's rumoured the boys will be playing Electric Picnic this year.

It's also rumoured it will be headlined by Prince.

And Numan has confirmed he's playing.

I think Mary, Drico and myself are the only PSB fans actually in Ireland. And Drico is in Germany isn't he?

I know of a few others but they're not members of the boards.

This means there will be three of us at Electric Picnic this year then!!

By the way, I work at a newspaper and I've heard again through contacts that this gig would be going ahead for PSB.

If anyone wants to see the site its electricpicnic.ie or you can book tickets at ticketmaster.ie. I've already booked mine.

But I could come over and visit friends in Clonmel and then go to the festival to see PSB and then get back to Clonmel?

I once did a bus trip from Clonmel to Dublin around the houses - it took 4 hours!! Then the Ferry over to Holyhead and the train to London and bus to work for 7.30am!!!

I would imagine it would be a hassle getting back to Clonmel at that time of night by public transport. Maybe you could hire a car.

Having said that, often special buses are put on for these festivals but usually only go to the main cities, rather than towns. But you could have a look at the site and drop them an email.

does anyone know when and where this festival takes place - my brother has moved back to galway and i'm sure i can persuade him to drive. although according to the information on the thumped.com site, NWA and 2Live Crew are also on the bill, so i'm not sure if news of psb is that reliable.
