We do our VERY best to never post information to the official site until there is zero chance it will be changed. Even still, changes do occur but that is our goal. So, as always, other sites will post information the instant they get it and thats fine. But how many times have you seen other sites post information only to find out that its changed?? So, when you see it on the official site, you can pretty much count on it being fact...after all, most news being posted is coming directly from the source...himself.contraddictive wrote:Nothing on the official site though...
As it turns out, I've asked about this gig (yesterday) and another and am awaiting final confirmation on it. Once the info is confirmed it will be immediatly posted to the site.

Have you thought in having a "rumour" section on the official site?. This one could be used for the things you believe that can be true but you are not at 100% certain.redman wrote:We do our VERY best to never post information to the official site until there is zero chance it will be changed. But I am not talking about things said by fans. I'm talking about something more or less consistent based in a real fact.westendboy87 wrote:I think a rumor section would be stupid. I mean, 10 percent would be actual rumors, the other 90 would be overdone jokes (about Disco 2 for example) and snooty remarks by people trying to be witty.

Yup....I suggested this LONG ago but Neil wasn't to keen on the idea. I think it's just a matter of why have that when we can and will put all finalized news on the site. It's a nice idea but after all, this is the official source for all news..so...why have rumors on the bands official site?nickname wrote:Have you thought in having a "rumour" section on the official site?. I'm hoping to get final info on this gig as soon as possible.

Re: Marktrock, Belgium
Maybe "rumours" wasn't the correct word to describe that, because this info cames from N and C. It's interesting info which can't be confirmed yet at 100% (but with A LOT of posibilities to be true, at the end). That section would include "officious" info, specially thinking in fans.redman wrote:Yup....I suggested this LONG ago but Neil wasn't to keen on the idea. Thanks, but don't worry about complaining..nothing is ever perfect. Sometimes complaints are constructive and lead to better features.contraddictive wrote:Thanks redman!
I get your point indeed... apparently the record company spread the rumour so I hope it's for real.
No complaints about the site at all btw - keep up the good work!

Hi Bill, does that mean that when we're told Fundamentalism will be dance tracks and remixes, there will be more than just the one new track, and so we shouldn't trust the tracklistings doing the rounds at the mo' ?redman wrote:We do our VERY best to never post information to the official site until there is zero chance it will be changed. hhmmm....I guess the tracklisting making the rounds are ideas..but whenever that tracklisting is announced on the site, it should be the final listing. I'll see if I can find out what is going on with it.Ghost within this house wrote: Hi Bill, does that mean that when we're told Fundamentalism will be dance tracks and remixes, there will be more than just the one new track, and so we shouldn't trust the tracklistings doing the rounds at the mo' ?![]()
