Ignoring slanderous impersonator(s) is a chore, but when you respond EVEN IN THE SLIGHTEST, you're acknowledging that person (which is why I don't post much here anymore). You might as well give him/her a big hug and kiss while you're at it, and say "Hey! Thanks for being a sh*t! Keep up the good work!"
While ignoring them probably won't make them go away, they may go pick on someone else.
I agree that the comments on I'm with stupid on the Official Site have been right out of order, but surely the running battles and quips on this board are a different matter?
Perhaps it seems more acute since everyone's appetite for news and anticipation for the new album is high.. but I still feel justified in pulling the odd leg here or there.
Your paragraph about responding to WMUs (Wind-Up Merchants) could, interestingly, apply just as much to TTM on this board as it does to the posters who impersonated him on the Lyrics page of the Official Site...

I'm not sure I understand what you are implying here. As a result of whoever's abuse of the lyrics section I have removed the ability to submit new comments about the songs. This is a temporary situation until I have time to clean out all the stupid, immature postings.

Glad top hear it hope you're able to delete all those stupid messages before Neil and Chris see them...
Absolutely useless and stupid things
We don't have Questions section anymore because of such comments and now we can lose even this last opportunity to show the Boys our REAL attitude towards the SONGS.
Anyway guys please think about Neil and Chris and other fans who have to read all that stupid messages and suffer of that! Please don't post that nonsense stuff again

No sarcasm please!
It's dedicated to the songs and people's opinions on them not to stupid little messages
