Exclusive concert
On May 8th, Pet Shop Boys will be performing an exclusive concert with the BBC Concert Orchestra which will be recorded for transmission on BBC Radio 2 later that month. The musical director of the show will be Trevor Horn, producer of the new PSB album "Fundamental", and the concert will feature songs from the new album as well as PSB hits and album tracks. Some of the songs will be sung by special guests.
If you live in the UK, you have a chance to win tickets to the concert which will take place at the Mermaid Theatre in London.

Someone mentioned a few weeks back that they wanted to have a live album...well this would seem to be the opportunity if its ever gonna happen.

it does say they will be playing "album tracks" maybe that means elton will sing "in private".

I hope they do a live CD someday and I want it to sound as good as montage.songs were revamped and redone in alot of cases and great visuals. they would be crazy not to video some of this tour.

I think we'll have a new PSB album (their songs with orchestra and with TH, lovely). A new version of Left to my own devices, maybe?

If the bbc do this gig like they did the recent David Gilmour gig it will be cool.

It was at the same venue and as well as it being broadcast on radio 2 it was available for a week after on the bbc website. Plus they also filmed it and put it on the BBCi channel (Sky & Freeview) for a week as well, although it was only selected songs.

Hope they do the same.

I think this means that you want to know when it will be on the radio. I would assume it will be broadcast at a slightly later date if not live.

If the BBC do the same as the Gilmour and Coldplay Christmas concert and put it out on BBCi-Radio 2 in video form I'll cap it and make it available. Assuming I'm allowed to post a link.
