I just read all six pages of this thread and I'm still a bit baffled. I like you well enough Eldrich, and I think you are a fine and talented writer, but it just seems an underhanded way of going about things. Yes you are within your rights to post your interview wherever you like.. but it seems to me you've blatantly used this forum simply to promote the other.
I just find it a bit like standing in K-Mart handing out flyers about a sale on in Target.

The CELL by Stephen King instantly hit number 1 in New York Times Bookseller Lists selling well over 200 thousand copies in three weeks. This affirms my opinion: People really need an occassional good horror read...

I try going to the other one to see if they got anything new but its always this weird dynamic of constant negative bitching mixed with a manic desperation to pat themselves on the back as being the "smart" forum. almost as if they will fall apart without the constant reaffirmation to offset their feelings of seeing this forum as a threat for some odd reason.
for a while that forum always seemed barren, like going to one of those 24hour supermarkets at 3 am, you know where the only thing going on there is the creepy guy using the floor buffing machine and the cranky 65 year old cashier.
its picked up now.they needed the fundamental reviews like a vampire needs blood before he turns into dust

Well, nobody is criticising geowayne for advertising his (excellent) site here. Nobody is demanding for him to post his fine analysis and full poll results here instead of luring people to visit his site. I see no difference with that and this case.RaciePSB wrote:I just read all six pages of this thread and I'm still a bit baffled.
