A new bad choice of singles again?
It seems there are 2 songs that should be single. After hearing the whole album,
I think most of you are going to think "Integral" and "The Sodom And Gomorrah Show" have to be single.
But I remember Neil saying in the Eldritch's interview that the new single of Fundamental will be Minimal. I love the final part of Minimal, but the rest of the song is not specially amazing.
The worst thing is when Neil said that he thought "The Sodom And Gomorrah Show", "Minimal", "Numb" and "I'm with stupid" could be hits. Nothing about "Integral" (I don't know if he has forgotten it or he doesn't see "Integral" as a hit).
Besides, in this forum it has been said that, according some EMI informations, "Numb" could be a future single. Even Schycological was rumoured that could be a future single.
So everyone thinks "Integral" is a good single but Pet Shop Boys and EMI.
Talking about "The Sodom And Gomorrah Show", this song was going to be a single (I believe is the Neil's favourite of the new album) but it is not going to be single because of its title. This song has the typical structure of the main PSB singles: a long song with a big production, catchy chorus, good melody, a impressive "intro", etc.
So, the Diane Warren's song "Numb" and "Minimal" could be the future singles of "Fundamental". Let's see what happens.

Oh please a little bit respect for Integral...Jareth wrote:Integral would do no better than New York City Boy IMO.
The CELL by Stephen King instantly hit number 1 in New York Times Bookseller Lists selling well over 200 thousand copies in three weeks. This affirms my opinion: People really need an occassional good horror read...

IMO ,sappy love songs is what sells. when you release a really electronic dance sounding number you might get the hardcore fanbase or even some club kids but if you want a big smash, sappy love song.you get all the young lovers and the housewives cause someone is buying all those zillions of adult contemporary songs.
