They forgot to add for sale as "promos" for 5X the regular cost.canveyboy wrote:

also on "ultra rare" bootlegged CD-R "acetate"
It does seem silly that at this point the UK chart rules are so, 1972.
I really hate download only material.

This is the most ridiculous decision they've made in a decade - and that's saying something. If they can't be arsed to put together a professional CD release of the I'm with stupid stupid mixes they can jolly well bet that lots of fans aren't going to be arsed to pay for them. BitTorrent here I come...

I know I'm a bit of a Luddite, but I can't get into the " remixes will be available for purchase on download " thing. I like having my CDs & playing them in my CD/DVD player rather than on my computer. Before you point it out, my player will simply NOT read burned CDs, so I am shackled to my computer if I want these mixes.
PLEASE!!!! Let there be a US release with these mixes on a Special Edition.

I still don't understand why they don't do what for instance Depeche Mode has done a couple of times. Release the current three chart-eligible formats on May 8th, then put all the leftovers on an extra maxi-cd and release it on, say, May 29th. Sure, it wouldn't chart, but I'm with stupid would be in freefall anyway by then, so it wouldn't matter at all. Everybody would be happy: the fans would get to buy the remixes and EMI/PSB would earn some extra bucks.
Click click drone
Maybe they still will.
If they say that the remixes will only be available via download everyone will download them now. If they then release them on a maxi cd in 4 weeks everyone will probably but that as well.
If they actually say there will be a maxi cd out in 4 weeks time or so no-one will download them now.
