Samples from Fundamental

#1 Post by zupzong »

Here's a Danish site where you can pre-order Fundamental and listen to 30 second samples of all of the songs.

Nice! Thanks!

Judging from the samples, I'm with stupid seems like a good lead single choice...

what a shame...

The majority of the PSB fans can heard the tracks of the new album from those samples for the first time... Now after that happened, I ask myself another time, why the boys didn't made samples available from thir page...?

First listen: very dissapoiting. I don`t like the much talked about minimal. The chanting minimal sounds dull. Also it sounds not like an uptempo song. All the others i also don`t like.

The best for me are Stupid and Luna Park.

Of course these samples don't say much but from what I've heard I don't like any song in particular and I'm strongly disappointed. It's a pity and there are definitely too much slow songs on the album. The samples sound boring and there is nothing special in them. I hope this will change, otherwise it will be their worst album to date.

Yeah i know that you can`t say much because they are only 30 sec. samples. But you are right in saying that the samples sound boring.

From the hype of popjustice: The first great pop Album of 2006 and all the very positive reviews i`m strongly dissapointed.

Minimal has no single potential. Also find Integral cheap. The sodom show apart from the guitar bit sounds boring from the vocals.

Roll on the Album in 2010.

At least Minimal, Stupid, Sodom and Integral is what I was expecting!!!! Great! Twentieth Century will definitely grow on me!

I'm with stupid, Sodom And Gomorrah Show, Integral and Numb are great songs.
Minimal is not a good choise for single, the best part of it is only their last seconds.

Anyway, it's the best album from Very (then, everybody can have a different opinion).

Thanks alot! :)

Psychological: sounds good

The Sodom and Gomorrah Show: sounds crap

I Made My Excuses and Left: sounds good

Minimal: wasn't what I was expecting! Thought it would be faster...'tis good tho

Numb: sounds lovely

God Willing: sounds OK

Luna Park: is beautiful

I'm With Stupid: whatever

Casanova In Hell: sounds cheap

Twentieth Century: sounds a bit dated

Indefinite Leave to Remain: sounds boring

Integral: brilliant

Of course, when I say crap and boring, it kicks the living daylights out of most of the other stuff that's around @ the mo'...It's an album I'm gonna really like when I get to fully hear it, I can tell! :D

I only like Stupid and Minimal. Am I just not getting the PSB sound anymore? I remember even back when i got Bilingual and Nightlife, I was so excited! Every track was awesome to me. Release, not so much, but hey it was a whole rock type album. A one off. Suddenly for this, I'm not so excited. I think I'd be fine just getting the cd singles for Stupid and Minimal (provided it does get released at some point). Maybe it needs to grow on me, or maybe I've grown out of 'it.'
