Finally I Heard the samples from FUNDAMENTAL...

Psycological - 8/10 the music is great but it's not the track to start the album...
The Sodom and Gomorrah Show - 8/10 strange...I must hear the complete version to judge
I made my excuses and left- 8/10 I must hear the complete version to judge...or I must hear Neil singing!
Minimal- 9/10 another great single to dance and sing!
Numb- 9/10 great ballad
God willing - NC oh my GOD! It seems so stupid...
Luna Park - 9/10 great and dark ballad
I'm with stupid- 9/10 well after 500 times I've heard it....good single !
Casanova in Hell - 8/10 Uhm...Probably it grow up, but it's quite good!
Twentieh century - 8/10 Good, a speeder RENT...
Indefinite leave to remain -10/10 I would love it. Another great ballad!
Integral - 10/10 MASTERPIERCE!

So I think it could be a great cd!!! pSB are back! 8)

Certainly not. But how the hell can you judge the album from random 30 second clips? When you go to the cinema do you wander in half way through, watch the film for quarter of an hour and then leave? Do you read a chapter of a novel then throw the book away?
You don`t atac people who said that it will be a good album. Isn`t this not the same.

If one sample would sound the 30 sec like a hardcore heavy metal song would you also say let`s wait who the full track sounds??? I think that the missing 3 or 4 minutes will then not be electro sounding. this is a hint what the song will be sounding and you get an idea of it. If your hear the chanting MINIMAL then you know that the other times this chant is used it won`t sound different.I don`t like this chant so i can say that i will not like the whole track.
I also don`t like the high pitched neil. So i can tell tell that i don`t like casanova.
i also don`t like indefinite. It is verse chorus verse chorus. So the rest will be similar.
Intgral is also cheap sounding judged from the full version.
Twentieth Century sounds lame.

I like numb luna park and stupid.

hi there

rarely post here, but read it all day long.

i was lucky enough to heard FUNDAMENTAL back in february when it had the original tracklisting that popjustice posted.

in my opinion (and i am a massive PSB fan), it is their best record since VERY. it's not so much a return to form as it is a combination of all the things i love about the PSB's: drama, melody, incomparable production, wit, and a fair amount of longing...

i do, however, think they made a TERRIBLE mistake in retracking the album in the order it is going to be released in. i have listened to the album over and over in this new sequence, and it never ceases to sound like i have my ipod on shuffle. it just does NOT work. simply put, the last sequence evoked the feeling of an epic film... this new sequence sounds like that film has been paused, rewound, cut up, and thrown in the bin.

the 30 second clips, in nearly ALL cases, do not feature enought of the track...and certainly not the most exciting parts of the tracks...to really get an understanding. each song on this record treads unfamiliar territory in terms of melody, structure, production, etc. each song, to me, seems to grow and build and ebb and flow like no others in their repetoire. without hearing the full songs it is IMPOSSIBLE to make a judgement on the album.

You must be an English illiterate as well, because it's been said in this topic countless times that the samples have been removed.
