What a fantastic song. So far this album looks really good to me. I found Integral to be good, but to be honest it's something they've done a bit better before. I love Luna Park and Minimal though, even if I think that I'm With Stupid is a better choice as a first single. I haven't heard any of the other tracks yet, I can't wait for the release.

4. Minimal

(Minimal)
M-I-N-I-M-A-L Minimal (Minimal) Minimal (Minimal)
M-I-N-I-M-A-L Minimal (Minimal) Minimal (Minimal)

White on white
Black so black
Subliminal
Void is clean
a silver knot for a criminal

Light and shade
time and space

M-I-N-I-M-A-L Minimal (Minimal) Minimal (Minimal)
M-I-N-I-M-A-L Minimal (Minimal) Minimal (Minimal)

Draw a line
more is less
is minimal
Form of life
decide something less decisional

Light and shade
time and space

M-I-N-I-M-A-L Minimal (Minimal) Minimal (Minimal)
M-I-N-I-M-A-L Minimal (Minimal) Minimal (Minimal)

An empty box
an open space
a single thought
leaves a trace

An empty box
an open space
a single thought
leaves a trace

Light and shade
time and space

M-I-N-I-M-A-L Minimal (Minimal) Minimal (Minimal)
M-I-N-I-M-A-L Minimal (Minimal) Minimal (Minimal)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The start of this song is really perfect, getting into a perfect mood.

When the lyrics start with "LIGHT AND SHADE", I get such a relaxed feeling, difficult to describe, a kind of 'riff' which is such ....aaaaaahhhh. 8)

Yep, the last 50 seconds are perfect, as said new order, but suddenly it's over. In my opinion this should have lasted 50 seconds longer

..and the little voices in the left corner (minimal) and right corner (minimal) :)

It's my favourite (at this moment). It's perfect!!

I was so worried about Minimal with the whole spelling thing..
But it's brilliant of course. The ending - the bass then the strings - is the best thing about it. From now on, nobody should be allowed to do New Order except Pet Shop Boys.

But yes, Stupid is a better choice to crash back onto the scene with. And lends itself more to the Little Britain video concept which was VITAL for airplay.

neil and chris will either be flattered or aghast at the fact that at 11:05 tonite I had a stripper named peaches dance to minimal. it sounded soooo good booming over the club sound system.

certainly better than her usual repertoire of kid rock and uncle kracker.

I love M-I-N-I-M-A-L!!! I hope will be a single because it could be a great single. The same for INTEGRAL!
We're concerned, you're a threat. You are NOT INTEGRAL to the project...

MINIMAL should be the next single!!
No single potential and no number 1 potential? I don't believe it!
It belongs for me in the top3 all time :)

The singles of this album:

1.I'm with stupid
2.Minimal
3.Integral
4.Numb

Neil and Chris, let's do it like this! At least 4 numbers of this fantastic maybe their best album ever!!!! I really am proud to these guys, they made all expectations come true, or more than that! :)

Does anyone else think the guitar at the end should be a bit louder?

yeah a little bit about the guitar volume plus I thought it sounded a little too muddled.plus there seems to my ears a quick part where the strings seem to play a bad note.

otherwise I love the build up at the end. I kinda like sometimes when singers stop and let the music do the talking to end the track.

As the ending is so superb, but so short, just imagine it continuing into something like Go West (Second Movement)...a few minutes with rhythm and strings and electronics at the end...I hope It´ll become a single just for the chance for a PSB Maxi-Mix to be released...
This is not my signature.

Well... I tried. I really did. And Ive now listened to that song about 10 or 15 times, the entire song, and I just..... dont like it. Im not hearing what the rest of you are hearing. The song sounds like it half-belongs to another genre that Im more familiar with, but I cant quite place it. To me it sounds weak, the little "elf" is annoying as hell and since Im not a huge fan of New Order, that guitar at the end really breaks the song for me. I havent been humming it and its not the first thing I turn on in the morning. Maybe Im getting old, maybe its too much stress lately, maybe Ive outgrown the Boys, but I simply cannot hear what is so great about this song. This will be lucky to break the Top 15.
