Madge is a gay icon and even she is bisexual. The collaboration with Liza was because of the movie "Cabaret" (if you see the film, you'll see why in some way Liza is a gay icon). It supposed that Robbie is gay. David Bowie is bisexual.....
And Peter Burns, Dusty Springfield, Elton John..... and now Rufus.
It's a fact they feel more confortable collaborating with gay and bisexual people (it's part of their world). Anyway, there is nothing wrong with that.
