,,I lived a quiet life

to ? -Here scrap scants of lirycs, what is there?

to city of the plain???
Close enough, its 'to cities of the plain', which is a reference to the five biblical cites of the plain, which were apparently, much to the dismay of the residents there, destroyed by brimstone and fire because of their wickedness. A bit harsh, but there you go.

Drop the 'we almost sound like a band now' sound: add a pumping beat in the chorus and there you go: world wide hit!

...Well, I believe it could be!

they most certainly will open up their shows with this song given the introduction that would also work great as an opening to their show.
