I'd put S&G as the first track (the obvious opener), swap Numb and Psychological for Resurrectionist and Fugitive and end the album with Luna Park (the obvious closer). The order of the rest is of little significance, though mixing the ballads and the uptempo songs is generally a good idea. And though I like God Willing I don't think it makes sense to have a 1-minute snippet of a song in the middle of the album.
Something like:
1. S&G
2. Minimal
3. 20th Century
4. Excuses
5. Casanova
6. Fugitive
7. Integral
8. Indefinite leave
9. Stupid
10.Resurrectionist
11.Luna Park

It was a cough that carried him off. It was a coffin they carried him off in.

I thought about that, too. But then again,Joemoz wrote:1. S&G ...
the album should've called 'The Sodom &
Gomorrah Show' instead of 'Fundamental'
because it is said 'Welcome to the sodom
and Gomorrah show ... ' in the beginning.
This would make sense like 'Welcome To
The Pleasuredome' ... just a thought. On
the other hand, if it was called 'The Sodom
& Gomorrah Show' it would not fit in with
the 'political matters' of the album I'm afraid.
Anyway, musically it would've been without
doubt a great entry I think.

I prefer the official tracklisting. The earlier one gets way too mellow in the 2nd half. It needs to conclude with Integral & go out with a massive bang! The earlier one also exposes Psychological as a weak filler, whereas on the official it functions as a low-key opener - a prelude to all the fireworks.
Resurrectionist is way too b-side standard for my liking. I'd sooner replace God Willing with an edit of Fugitive (which I've done already!) to break up some of the mellowness.
